Johny Jenkins -6 Aug 02-
I served with C Troop 3rd plt. from Mar 68-March 69. Our APC had green
lighting marks on them would like to hear from any one that served in
CTroop 3rd plt, at that time. I have been trying to remember a young
kid that served with me,who lost his life to a land mine that his track
ran over. We had a Kid Carson scout with us at that time, I have been
bother with this for over 30 years, He was from NY,we were traveling on
a road that had not been used, I was in the track right behind him.
Please if any one can slightly remember please contact E-Mail or call
collect 303-680-2342. If there is any way that I can find out those who
died in our plt during this time, that would be helpful.

I arrived at C-Trp April 72 while we were in Augsburg. We moved the troop to Boeblingen in June. I was a scout in 3rd platoon, however, from Sept 72-Aug 73 I was the "First Cook" then returned to the 3rd platoon. We traded in our M114 Scout Vehicles after returning from the Check border and transitioned into M551 Sheridans. I left the Cav in Dec 74 and did another tour in Germany, Colorado, Virginia before being medically retired in 1985. I would love to here from former comrads.
